Born Shirley Ann Lewis

February 25, 1937 to Alma and James Lewis of Sicklerville New Jersey, has been singing since the age of 4, starting out with her older brothers as the Lewis Gospel Singer, and going  on to sing in fairs, baseball games, and other events singing songs her Hopi Indian father taught them to sing were original songs.

   Shirley won numerous talent shows while in school tryouts and dance contests as well she is a phenominal dancer, entertainer.

  She has worked and been on stage with such notables in her early years with BB King, Otis Redding, Richard Groove Holmes, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the miracles.   As well as Tim Buckley, Koko Taylor, and in later years Marcia Ball, Ronnie Earl, David  Maxwell, Luther Guitar Jr Johnson, Mighty Sam McClain.  The list goes on and on.

  She headlined the Bessis Smith Strut in Chattanooga Tn before 80,000 people.   Shirley loves to have children join her on stage and sing a song with her., she is noted for doing this at the festivals she performs where children can enjoy her taletnt

   Shie is very charismatic, and has a great sense of humor.  Her smile is so warm and always friendly. REAL PEOPLE Her fans say.
